How to Clean Apple’s Mighty Mouse Trackball in 5 Seconds

by admin

I’ve been a happy Mac user for almost two years now. I use PC for work on a daily basis, but use Mac for my photography. Believe it or not, it crashed just once in two years of heavy usage. My PC does it at least twice a week. Two years later, my iMac still works as good as new. The only thing I hate about the Mac is the mighty mouse. The track ball gets dirty too easily, and frequently stops working, thus requiring heavy cleaning every now and then. Why Apple can’t design a better trackball remains a big mystery to me.

Up until now I was always irritated when trackball stopped working because I use it a lot while in Photoshop to zoom in and out of my photos. Today I took the matter into my own hands and did some good ol’ internet research to find a better solution (what Apple recommends doesn’t work so well). And then voala – I found this great video on Youtube that shows you how to do it in 5 seconds. It worked! If you’re a Mac user, perhaps you will also appreciate this.
