Welcome to my new blog.

After using Blogger for a couple of years for my original photo blog and for our family blog, I decided to take my online presence to a new level and switch to Wordpress platform. The reason is very simple – Wordpress gives me a lot more options for customizing the content and publishing new material, and this is what I am ready for.

I will still keep the old blog online as the content still drives traffic, although I may not renew the domain name when it expires a year from now.

Now what’s to be expected in terms of future content here.

1. This blog will eventually become an extension of the main site where I will publish the set of the online portfolios in the next few weeks.
2. I will continue to publish new images, new thoughts on the medium of photography, its application, new resources I found, review of books, equipment and web-sites and whatever else comes to mind worth sharing.
3. I will also publish my work through the new medium that I am learning, downloadable pdf files, eBooks or other means of presentation to extend the way I present my work. Next post will contain a debut file with my Portfolio One that will give you an idea of what I will try to accomplish with these files.
4. I will blog on a more regular basis than I have in the past, with goal to post 3-4 new entries every week.
